I have recently been through a horrendous tragedy. I have lost my best friend of 5 years to a failed surgery. I'm sure you all have heard of this surgery before: Gastric Bypass. Yes, the "weight-loss cure." Yeah, okay, so it might work for some, but for others, it has proven to be fatal.

I lost my ex-girlfriend to this surgical procedure on April 11th. I blogged about it on this site, and the blog was not only to clear my head and put my emotions down, but also to warn others of the dangers of medical malpractice. See, when they finished her procedure, somehow they did not do something right. I am unaware of all of the details because I am not allowed access to any details regarding her death, but I do know that she died due to internal bleeding through her intestines, caused from some mistake the doctors made. I do not blame them, however, they did their best.

I am just warning others to really listen to the doctor about the seriousness and the repercussions involved in a surgery. With every surgery there is risk. Weigh these risks before you make a decision, and make sure that you really know what you are getting yourself into before you take the plunge. That is all I have to say on that, but if any of you have any questions or concerns, I will be more than glad to answer them or give support in any way I can.
