Wicca Wiccans Pagans and Free Souls.. live different.. be Neopagan!

Back in the '80s there was a "meta-physical" boom where book stores and magic supply stores flurished in some areas and I was lucky enough to live in one of those ares. The accesability to these things greatly helped my "practical" knowledge and I had a great time to boot. Please share some of your stories below...looking forward to reading them.

very lovely statment...if not for the economic climet i would wish to live here indefenetly

I was lucky enough to find teachers:  not just one, but several!  I don't think that would have happened elsewhere.

One way it affects my actual practice is that the climate here, which is so different from that of Britain and Western Europe, makes my Sabbat celebrations very different from what one finds in the books.  I can't very well say lines in ritual abut the Earth sleeping under the snow when it is actually burgeoning with new green spring grass!  The seasons hwere I am are not really summer and winter so much as a rainy season and a dry season:  the climate is more like that of the Mediterranean than like that of the more traditional Wiccan lands.

The directions still fit into the traditional Wiccan orientation, though:  North/Earth, East/Air/, South/Fire, West/Water.
