Opalite is great for stress.  I used it a lot while having to write exams and now keep my little helper close when works been a killer.  Its good at opening all those blocked pathways and with the release of blockages the old cobwebs leave and you can get going again. Ive never used it for psychic curgery though but it makes sence.

Schorl sounds like a good one but Im a bit concerned that it may clash with the silver.  Im a bit siensitive to vibrations of energies and a permanent headache is not a good thing!  Maby the concerns are groundless but a dry run may be in order with my trusty silver locket.

Thanks for the thoughts any others to add to the list is appreciated.

Another one to consider is schorl - black tourmaline. It reflects negativity back to its source and protects from EMI.  I, too, collected an opalite, Padawan - I have yet to really use it, but I think it could be good with assisting with psychic surgery.

Does anyone have any ideas on what "stone" to place into a dragon symbol ring.  Im thinking of haveing one made and want to put it in his mouth as a sort of protection symbol.  Ive had the design plan for years and feel that now is the time to take it off paper and into silver.

Hay Padawan you just got to love our "religion" as recycling occurs over and over - nothing goes to waste!!  I find that although smooth stones work well the rough cuts tend to give a bit of extra "oomph" to my magic and they work great as talismins and trinkets.  Ive got a rough edged quartz that I use as a "knife" when I have to cut into candle wax for fire spells and Ive found that theres a lot less negativity floating about.  Some would disagree (rather strongly) but it works for me and that is what counts. Even my brat of a cat settles down for a purr rather than trying to swat them dead.  your probably asking what my familiar is doing in my circle - I dont know ask her, she seems to think its her right to be there!!

And yes I know about the discussion boards but they are a pain to navigate through

The "pool" is big enough for 2 or so but then it gets a bit crowded come spring time so I head for the petshop.  They generally stay below water line and learn not to fall onto the table when Im not home to stop the drying out process.  I tried those tiny little "guppies" with the bright tales once but they got caught in the filter and it turned messy!

I do alot of water magic with it and it seems to work if I scale things down a bit.  I still prefer the ocean breezes and open air but beggers can't be choosers.  I take it outside to do my magic out in the open where I feel free from indoor "staleness" and it generally restores some of the balance within and without.  The water nymphs like it too - I had the feeling they were a bit disatisfied with the hosepipe as it now rather mysteriously has a hole in it.

*ponders* I'm beginning to wonder if anyone knows about the discussion boards

I will have to try to find me some snails. I think that would be interesting to watch them in their envirement. Thanks for another great idea.

Is your fountain big enough to do water magick with?

Get yourself some of those snails that they put into the fishtanks and let them eat the algae in the fountain pools - a lot less work that way!!  Im all for shortcuts that work and you are bringing in a bit of nature on the side - just dont let things run dry or they will die.

As for Taurus I know all about those as Ive lived with one all my life with my brother.  Stubborn and a home boy who likes his comforts.

Weather patterns changing all round so I think somebody got a bit confused with the forcating.  Weve had a lot of thunder and lightening here but the desert has so far won as no rain has happened.  Im looking forward to that as I dont like the feel of the imbalance in the elements.

I use to have several fountains running around my house. They became to much work to keep clean and running after a few years. You are right that would help. I will have to get them out and clean them. Sharon to my rescue again. I know I will let all my stone come and have pool party.

I am looking forward to a rainy day that I can just lay in bed, drink my coffee and read a book. Oh my Goddess, I am sounding so much like a Taurus.

You know that it is bad when the weather witches quit trying for rain. We all know when all of that magick breaks loose there is going to be great flooding and a lot of rain.

Pendant turned out great and I wear it alot.  The uniform here is so long and (can I say plain?) that no one  notices that Im wearing jewelry!  Nymphs do bring joy to life - and mischief too if ones not careful! I leave my fountain on in the sittingroom and keep the garden as green as i can to get the elementals to stay.  Its not easy but so far Ive succeeded in this strange place Im temporarily living in.  Maby you should try it - those small relaxation fountain thingies work well for me.
