Karika - Yes, I think I do, or else my memory of the dream in in vignettes... perhaps that is more accurate.

Shadowcat, it sounds to me like you need to be deprogrammed. All of the various "end times" scenarios that have been circulating in the media lately are a means to an end. The NWO wish to keep the public in a state of hysteria and panic, preventing people from making clear decisions. While I wouldn't put it past them to unleash some type of biological agent that could be spread by insects, it seems to me that this is more a case of mind control, mental terrorism. The fact that you're dreaming about it means that the programming is working. We all need to step back, find our peaceful locale, and sit with these thoughts beneath our favorite tree, use the starlight vision to find the patterns. . . this fear of apocalypse isn't natural, it's a construct, created, programmed, designed. "End times" scenarios are a product of linear thought, patriarchal control mechanisms. A good example is the recent media hype over "2012" scenarios. Those who have REALLY studied the ancient mayan writings know that the maya did not consider the long count calendar to represent some type of countdown to doomsday, as its being portrayed on TV. Ground and center. Our traditional wisdom tells us that time is cylical, not linear. An end is just another beginning. . .

i've been having end of the world as we know it dreams. two nights ago it was that whatever had already happend and the few surviors were rebuilding in that dream i was trying to keep people from killing each other after fighting over which way to rebuild, last night it was a plague carried by bugs that was threating the world. in that dream i was trying to find anywhere that would be safe. i'm use to my life being threatend in dreams but the whole world is a new one to me

The falling dream experience was my worst, not because of the dream, which was surprisingly free of fear, but upon waking, to find I had actually fallen from my bed and cracked my head against the corner of the wall!

@ Lokikat- I know what you mean my best dreams are my falling dreams it is such a freeing feeling. Even the time that I actually hit the ground was amazing. I don't think it matters if the dream means you are "out of control" I think that sometimes that is what we need/want. I know I don't need the responsibility of being "in control" all the time :)

Airi'in, you've got a powerful mind. If his mind is not trained you might be keeping him awake. Does he meditate?

Lokikat, when I was really getting into dreamwork they would pour in and I wouldn't be getting any real sleep at all. I had a statue of Apollo at the head of my bed and occasionally I would ask him to send me a either a fun dream or none at all. I would have them and wake up laughing so hard sometimes. My roommate thought I was crazy.

Have you ever had "conversations" with him while sleeping? For example one night a boyfriend and I were sleeping and we both started speaking to each other out loud while dreaming. It was hilarious in the morning but for the life of us we couldn't remember what was discussed

To answer Sam- Yes, I do use sage for cleansing however that is only the first step. My Lakota friend informed me before the ritual that in order to complete the cleansing you first burn sage until you feel what you are cleansing is cleared. Then you burn Cedar to heal that which you just cleansed. And finally the last step is to burn sweet grass to invite the good spirits into the area/object/space/etc. Apparently this completes the cycle. All I know is that it works for me.
