I got mad when I found out their true motives. Being a witch is more then just casting spells to get what you want. We are here to guide, heal, and offer enlightenment those who need the help, and to connect with our goddesses and gods and to help them to keep the balance, if we are able.

I dont mind giving if the path is a truthful one but if its just for self gain I get mad.  The best way to learn is by doing and then learning from mistakes.  Being a Solitary Ive found that out good and solid.  What were they thinking anyway? Its crazy.  Like your thumbprint by the way - reminds me of my Morgan when shes well contented.

Life just reminded me of that fact. I thought I was mentoring two teenagers who said they were new to the Craft Of The Wise, but after talking with them for a few days. It became clear to me that they were just looking for witches to cast spells for them. I think what their doing is wrong, so I've been warning every witch or wiccan on that site about them.

The problem is that they believe they have convinced everyone else and they just dont get it that truthfullness gets positive results quicker than hiding the truth or lying about it.  Empathy for another human being can only take them so far as the real work belongs to the patient in the end.

Being empathic is advantageous too. I find that it helps alot in my job as I can sift through the proverbial untruth and gain the information needed to aid them rather than going round in circles. They do get upset however when the covers come off and they discover you knew what they were hiding all along. On a bad day their reactions are fun to watch as the face can tell a thousand stories if properly read and the eyes never lie.

shadowcat. Yeah it's fun being empathic some times. I know how that goes for I am empathic as well. :)

well honestly when I was reading them it seemed more and more like they were all just religion bashing...So I do admit I was a bit upset....Also I some times channel my emotions into my words when I type them so that might be partially why it seemed more cold and bitchy then I intended. ^^;

i don't know something about your post came across as being cold and bitchy and not really like it was meant to spread the idea of understanding
