SKYCLAD The term used for ritual nudity. It is considered by some that clothing may hinder magickal energies. Being nude is not a requirements and up to the individual who wishes to practice so in private or trusted coven. ADULTS ONLY GROUP.

DISCLAIMER: NO NUDITY & EXPLICIT PICS POSTING ARE ALLOWED HERE!

"Notwithstanding the perspectives of this particular Group and with all my sincere respect for Skyclad meaning and rituals, I personally like to underline that this is a 'public site', under NING rules and censorship control. These 'censorship' rules are NOT made by me but NING. Not applying to them can lead to profile deletion and also even to the community shut down, at NING solely discretion.

In addition to that, I believe is correct to use this 'public' community and annexed tools with an 'open mind' but also with equilibrium & wisdom. It is correct to intend this community as a cool place to meet new people that are possibly sharing similar interests and connect with them. It is INCORRECT to use & intend this community as your private space where you are free to completely show all your 'inner creativity' without inhibition & control. Consequently, not being this community your private domain and neither your personal bedroom (lol), it is appropriate that more 'explicit Skyclad experiences' with relative possible nudity or explicit postings, as mystical or sacred this is or can be perceived by you, needs to be experienced not here, but in a private environment or in other communities that allows nudity, etc...

Thanks for your understanding of all the above and to apply to it." - Founder.

I have a group that practices and studies skyclad magicks and sacred sexuality in Southern California. The Pheonyx Circle is seeking new members

Skyclad magic is doing rituals or spell casting nude (being covered only in the sky)

Blessings to all. I met the Solstice with a skyclad ritual in the middle of the New Forest here in England. It was very uplifting.  Like others in the area, because of the cloud, I didn't actually see the sun rise, but the rite was good. I followed this up by going to Stonehenge the following day (yesterday) and was luck to see the druids standin within the circle.

Where did you meet the solsitice, Dryad? You couldn't have been many miles away from where I was. Perhaps we'll have to meet a full moon in the near future.

Blessed be to all

I thought Summer Solctice was on the 21st, and though it was lovely weather to celebrate it yesterday, it would have been too cold this morning. However yesterday (when i thought i should have been celebrating it) i had a very successfull and enjoyable Pagan Circle meeting, which made up for the excitement, my appologies to the sun god. I'm glad Dryad did better than myself.

This all sounds very interesting. I agree with a lot of what is said here. I too prefer to meditate and do the few rituals I have learned skyclad, but only alone in my home. I think it might be interesting to find a skyclad coven in the Okanagan to learn what this can be all about. I have one place near my home that appears to be an old, abandon property on the side of a lake, that I like to go to meditate. The energy I feel there is amazing. There is even an old graveyard on the site with headstones back to the 1800's. and nothing newer than 1928. Nothing appears to have been maintained for many, many years. I ask permission when I go past the graves and so far have never felt any negitive energy from there. It is a very beautiful place.

Chaz,
It would be appropriate in this case to lead by example, and upload at least one photo of yourself in your skyclad rituals.

With Spring upon me now, I can do more rituals and meditations outside. I am fortunate to have the luxury of doing this with out prying eyes, save for the woodland creatures that may come by. I love to sit and relax with the sun upon me before I give thanks to the Goddess, and for me the Great Spirit. We are taught as children we must where clothes. So the search begins to find comfortable clothes. Then as we get older the status symbols begin, I must have Nike shoes, or Levis, or we have to buy them from the High priced mall shops. Sad to say this continues for many for the rest of their lives.  So now I choose to be nude. I find it refreshing and wonderful to stand in the sun with a breeze across my body. Then I am in tune with myself, and with nature. Try it if you haven't, you might be surprised.
