Sharon lets talk about your new friends that you found. Could they be Tangerine Quartz? You might want to try travel magick with them.

You are planning to use them for divination. Wandering stones see a lot and know a lot but do not have grounding to their advice.

Welcome Kurokuma. Sharon explained it very nicely. In nature magick we believe that stones are sanctioned beings and children of Gaia. So as we use them, We know that they need a break from the magick and they need to go back home for a while. In some traditions this would be called cleaning but to a greater degree. If you want powerful stones you have to let them neutralize past magick. You are bound to the magick you do and so are they.

I guess when your as overworked as the stones can get some downtime is essential for destressing and a good bath and clean up. I find they work better after a holiday.  Picked up some Desert Quarts that was lying next to a flash flood river bed so Im going to experiment for a while.

The best way I can clear up confusion below is that stones get negatively charged over time and need a clean up and recharge that only a holiday in Mother Nature can provide - ever been for a long forest walk or walk in the rain after a stressful day??  Its like that.  Maby Sam can better describe it.

That is a great idea!!! I need to send my stones on a holiday. Everything needs a break every now and then. It was been a couple of years since I have let them loose to run wild through the woods.

Cool multi-functional, I like that!!  Its going to be nice to play with my new toys when I get them back. Theyr being turned into a pendent and the clasp comes off so I can use them as stones aswell.  My special collections growing nicely what with my gold (unrefined and still in its rocky form), moonstone and now the jade to add to it.  My other stones in their tacklebox as undergoing a holiday for now.

Green jade is the stone of abundance. The magick would be for money, wealth, and anything you would want more of. In love magick you would use it for more love, time together and the like. For happy magick you would use it to bring in more joy and laughter. Green jade is very earthy in it's properties where lavender jade is very intuitive in it's properties. And then you could them as a butt plugs.

Ok pink jade and sex magic and  lavender and compassion makes sence but what about the green varieties?  From what Ive been reading the Orientals used them as orifice plugs on death but Ive always associated the color with life and growth.  The soft soapy feel and almost translucent look of it gives the same impression as its color - a paradox maby??

Jade is used in sex magick because of the power that it has to show the user their beauty. You feel beautiful and there for you act beautiful. People will pick up on the beauty and react, making you feel more beautiful. Lavender jade gives you more compassion. Compassion helps when you are being a healer but not so much in a relationship when you need someone to be strong.

I tend to be drawn to the quartzes and color variation stones and feel the combinations they hold are unique and versatile to use in magics. Some of my combinations draws negative comment and my runestones have a lot of negative feedback due to the tigers eye - not sure why as its a good protection stone, Anyway you need to use what feels right and will aid rather than do what is fashionable.
