Wicca Wiccans Pagans and Free Souls.. live different.. be Neopagan!

Hay I've been having meditation troubles.  I'm asking this group because the reason why is something that most LGBT people go through.  The problem I'm having is kind of like a block.  I broke one of the rules to wicca about 8 years ago.  We all know the rule " Harm none do as ye will."  Well I harmed myself back then and ever since then I haven't been able to meet and talk with my sprit guide, aline my chalkras, or even just clear my mind.  Any suggestions as to how I can break or ger around this "block" I'm having?

yeah no problem.  I facilitate a guide meditation group every now and then.

Spirit Guides: first just talk to them, conversating with them even if you can't hear them can build up that connection.  Your guide at the time might have moved on and you might have a new one so make sure you are not limiting to that one your use too, we have many guides.  Trying listening to a guided meditation, then you follow their instruction and forcus on their words instead of worrying about your own thoughts.  Try listening to music, high vibration can open your crown which will connect you to your guides.  Also have faith in yourself, your probably doubting or holding onto that issue and may not feel confident.

Chakras: There so many ways to aline your chakras, and it is almost a daily tune-up.  Crystal healing is used to aline chakras...placing the appropiate crystal on each chakra can help heal the issue inside.  Music also can help, each note goes to a chakra...C = the base then go up all the way to B = the crown.  Colors are also associated with each chakra, you can wear the colors of the chakra you want to work on or bring out that day.  Or you can have someone else help you to heal each chakra for you.

Clearing the Mind:  Clearing the mind is getting back to basics if your trying to then for the most part you won't achieve it.  I have only done it 3 times in a 5 year spand and thats because our psychology department really focused on connecting with the Zen Center near us.  I guess it's focusing on nothing and everything at the same time.  you notice everything but nothing really affects you or makes you respond...and it was 5 years of focusing on breathe alone...counting, hold/let go, breathing deep, having my eyes half open & closed.  Anyways there are two ideas you can try if you just trying to find peace.  1) write down all your thoughts, problems, worries, etc.. down then try meditating.  sometimes we get worried that we won't remember something later so writing down helps to remember (also good for sleep).  2) try to make your throughts spin faster...speed them up, get your thoughts to speed up soo fast that you can't focus on one, and all that is left if the void in the middle full of peace
