This is only a few. I am a movie junkie.
Favorite Music:
Ok..here's my music crap: I love music. REAL music. GOOD music. Ghetto RAP is not music. Most jazz (like the freeform shit) is just fucking NOISE as far as I am concerned. Death metal or any music where it sounds like the lead singer is in dire need of an enema is NOT music.

Music is *also* NOT is listening to Kelly Clarkson try and scream her way through a rock song.

As for me? My music tastes range from classic rock to 80's - as well as *some* current stuff. Most current music is shit. Honestly, when is the last time you have heard something original? I think grunge was the LAST original music style. What the HELL is the Emo crap? And when did the term 'alternative' become the description for EVERY type of rock music out there?

As for recent music.. I recently grabbed the new Spoon album, the new Vampire Weekend album looks promising but I have only heard one song (A-Punk) thus far. Most of the GOOD new music I find is promoted PROPERLY by the kickass DJs on 93.1 WXRT here in Chicago. I have found some of my favorite new artists through that station and they have some really great programs. Check em out online. You can stream their broadcast: www.93xrt.com

By the way..Scissor Sisters & Arcade Fire should BOTH be subjected to water boarding. Gods, they blow monkeys. I don't care if David Bowie thinks Arcade Fire is the most awe-inspiring shit since the invention of glam rock. They SUCK. Dyson Vaccuum-level suckage going on there.

Here are the lyrics to the song 'Invincible' by Ok Go which is on my playlist... They SO fit an Aries/Leo like myself:

When they finally come to destroy the earth, they'll have to go through you first.
I bet they won't be expecting that.
When they finally come to destroy the earth, they'll have to deal with you first,
and now my money says they won't know about the
thousand Fahrenheit hot metal lights behind your eyes. Invincible.

invincible oh oh oh
You're invincible.
oh oh
invincible
invincible oh oh oh

you're invincible
(invincible, invincible, invincible.(background singers))
That crushing, crashing, atom-smashing, white-hot thing yeah.. invincible.

When they finally come, what'll you do to them? Gonna decimate them like you did to me? Will you leave them stunned and stuttering? When they finally come, how will you handle them? Will you devastate them deliberately?

'Cause I'm gonna guess they won't be prepared for thousand Fahrenheit hot metal lights behind your eyes. invincible

invincible oh oh oh
You're invincible.
invincible oh oh
invincible oh oh oh

you're invicible
(invincible, invincible, invincible.backup singers))
That crushing, crashing, atom-smashing, white-hot thing... invincible.

So please, use your powers, for good. please use your powers for good.

You're invincible

invincible oh oh oh
invinvible
invincible oh
you're invincible
invincible oh oh oh
you're invincible
invincible (oh oh oh)
invincible
oh your're invincible.

na na na na na na, na na na na na na na, na na na na na nan na na

(oh oh oh oh, you're invincible)

(invincible, invincible, invincible.)
That crushing, crashing, atom-smashing, white-hot thing... invincible.
Favorite Band:
This should be plural. Also... I have a playlist. You wanna know my favorite musicians? Listen to my playlist.
Favorite Books:
BOOKS: ANYthing on Wicca, tarot, metaphysics, paranormal investigation, ghosts, weird shit like spontaneous combustion or the Bermuda Triangle. I am fascinated by that stuff. also - anything on ancient cultures like Egypt, Incas, Mayans, Aztecs.. you name it.

AUTHORS I LIKE: Chris Penczak, Scott Cunningham, Raymond Buckland, Patrick Dunn, Donald Michael Craig, Amber K, Linda Goodman, Sybil Leek

I don't tend to like novels, I will however indulge in the occasional book by Terry Pratchett or Neil Gaiman.

AUTHORS THAT NEED TO BE SERIOUSLY BITCH-SLAPPED: Laurie Cabot, Silver Ravenwolf (or should we say $ilver Ravenwolf since she will write anything for a Llewellyn book deal), Konstantinos, (countless others too but I am sticking to the ones I can recall) ...

...and the one hypocrite I can't stand the most is Sarah Lyddon Morrison - author of The Modern Witch's Spellbook (Book I & II).

Page 16 of her book 'The Modern Witch's Spellbook: Book II states (direct quote, mind you):

"You must never have anything to do with black magic practicioners. Their craft is not of God but of the devil, and there's surely enough evil in the world without adding to it."

Ironically and rather amusingly - her entire BOOK is filled with black magic. Literally HALF of this book is dedicated to controlling Love Spells - very dark manipulations that attempt to control another person's will.

The second half of the book is dedicated to other types of manipulative spells.

STAY AWAY FROM HER TRASH IF YOU ARE INTENDING TO FOLLOW A WICCAN PATH. HER MAGIC IS VERY DARK.
Favorite Quote:
"Been there ... done that... wore the t-shirt, ate the burger, bought the original cast album, choreographed the legions of the damned & orchestrated the screaming."

MONOGAMOUS PAGANS, people who voted for Obama, men who are interested in a long-term monogamous relationship, men who like BBWs....men who are not intimidated by me, men who love art/culture, people with a fantastic sense of humor, people who have an interest in pop culture, comedy clubs, improv, making an ass of themselves, and generally enjoying life.
People you hate:
HATE is a rather strong word, but I have a complete ANNOYANCE and general intolerance of:

Playgans, Fluff Bunnies, Emo Kids who make up their own sect of Paganism/Wicca to make themselves "look cool", Dabblers, Especially Playgans who have never read a book on Wiccan or Occult Theology etc, but who claim to be the leader of a coven or a High Priest/ess of their own coven (i.e. Playgans again) ...
I also can't stand: Polyamorous Pagans, Swingers, Open Relationships, & die-hard Gardenarians, Wiccans on that "hereditary witch" kick, and those that think you haveta be in a COVEN to truly be dedicated to the Goddess. HEY!? Who was upholding the traditions during the Inquisition? Us solitary witches hiding in the shadows -- or all of you out dancing openly in a field buck nekkid somewhere? Yeah, that's what I thought... now go soak your cauldron.

10 New Uses for Newspaper

“Newspaper, by design, is a very absorbent product, because it has to absorb ink. But that also means it is equipped to absorb all sorts of moisture, including moisture and the resulting odors found in shoes, in vegetable drawers, and elsewhere,” says Chris Morrissey, vice president of marketing for Sun Chemical, in Northlake, Illinois, the world’s largest printing-ink manufacturer.

Transform a Ladder into Kitchen Shelving
