I'm here because most pagan sites are blocked by my government as "cult and occult". Great!

I can log into any other religious websites, except for ones that are spiritually "pagan" in nature. This is disturbing for me, despite the historical hypocrisy of "religious freedom" in my country of residence. And here I am, in the popular calendar year of 2015 experiencing this... intolerance. Well, I am thankful that this site is open, and that it has a live chat option that is not blocked either. It's comforting for me. This is a blessing, and I hope others will find WiccanNeoPagan.com…

With autumn approaches the Halloween season and a time for understanding

Feel free to share this and publish this, all I ask is that you use it in its entirety and give credit as it is. I also ask that you email me so I can track it.  My goal was to get local publications to share this and in turn start to add wisdom to the community as a whole.

Pagan roots of Islam

From the mountains of Turkey to the banks of the Nile, the most wide-spread religion of the ancient world in the Middle East was the worship of the male Moon-god. Sin is the name of the moon god, essentially Sumerian in origin which had been borrowed by the Semites. The Moon-god Sin was usually represented by the moon in its crescent phase. The Old Testament constantly rebuked the worship of the Moon-god (see: Deut. 4:19;17:3; II Kngs. 21:3,5; 23:5; Jer. 8:2; 19:13; Zeph. 1:5, etc.) When Israel… Continue

Check out this great site for herbs and essential oils :)

www.theherbcorner.com

I love this site, they dont mark up prices like alot of other sites do. Fragance oils, herbs, capsules, Essential oils, crystals. And the best part is its five dollars for shipping, so order as much as you want and you dont have to worry about hidden fees. :)

Censorship in the Acropolis museum

A scene from an animated film shown to visitors at the new Acropolis Museum that depicts Christian priests destroying parts of the Parthenon has been deleted following protests by the Greek Orthodox Church. The priests used to destroy ancient temples. Now they want to remove scenes from a film," Costa-Gavras the creator of the segment told Greece's Mega TV channel. "This is the kind (of censorship) that used to happen in the former Soviet Union." Costa-Gavras' 1-minute, 40-second segment… Continue

Thought everyone might find it interesting to read about this news from March 2009. A Temple - a Pagan Temple - is going to be rebuilt in the vicinity of the original temple. This is in the country of Turkey. Apparently archeologists didn't find this original temple until 1870 but now there are only 2 pieces of marble left... However, they have figured out what it looked like... click on the link and read, my friends!

Following this path for a very long time.

So long I can't remember another way. I started learning about wicca from my grandmother, she taught me a few spells years ago. Ones for sending thunder storms away, another to help flowers bloom and herbs grow. She taught me to read tea leaves, see the future in spider webs and other forms of divination. There were no stores for pagans then, not much was written down. Knowledge was passed around slowly, if it was passed at all. You had to be careful who you shared knowledge with, who you read… Continue

a pagan in hell- funny

A Pagan dies and, to his great surprise, he finds himself standing before some pearly gates. St. Peter asks him, "May I help you?"

The Pagan asks, "Where am I?"

Peter says, "You're at the gates of heaven."

The Pagan says, "But I don't believe in heaven."

Peter frowns at him. "You're one of those Pagans, aren't you?"

"Yes. I believe I'm in the wrong place; I'm supposed to go to Summerland."

Peter says, "Sorry. We took over… Continue

Are we all Neopagans ? ...

Following the course of history we know with certainty that all the major religions of the world plus the minor ones, including New Age Cults and Movements, are born and shaped following the previous Pagan old ones.

So we can say with confidence that we are the development-evolution of the previous ones.

At this point the final result is that no matter what we believe, all of us are "the sons" of Paganism.

Then we can call ourselves without doubts the new Pagans or… Continue
