Quote I adore...

Every religion on the planet, and there are so many more than you are even
aware of, has the potential of absolute thriving. But when you think
that
you must prove that you have the only one that is right—and you use
your condemnation to push against the others—your condemnation
separates you from your own Connection that, before your condemnation,
you
were finding in your own religion.

I was just writing in Cameron's blog - his article about why do Pagans disparage each other? And I was thinking about it and saw this article... In Iran there is a civil unrest which… Continue

What is Enlightenment? An Answer by Immanuel Kant

IMMANUEL KANT

An Answer to the Question:

What is Enlightenment? (1784)

Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed immaturity. Immaturity is the inability to use one's understanding without guidance from another. This immaturity is self-imposed when its cause lies not in lack of understanding, but in lack of resolve and courage to use it without guidance from another. Sapere Aude! [dare to know] "Have courage to use your own understanding!"--that is… Continue

Pagan "University" on the web: South Carolina Pagan Ministry Seminary!

I think this is good news. I haven't come across a specifically Pagan Seminary before. And it appears to be non-denominational as well. What I like is that it is located in South Carolina.... geographically nearer to the states in the US that seem to be more prejudiced against Pagans.

Thought everyone might find it interesting to read about this news from March 2009. A Temple - a Pagan Temple - is going to be rebuilt in the vicinity of the original temple. This is in the country of Turkey. Apparently archeologists didn't find this original temple until 1870 but now there are only 2 pieces of marble left... However, they have figured out what it looked like... click on the link and read, my friends!
