A dream I had...???

Recently I had a dream that I am still wondering about.

I was dreaming nothing but darkness. Then suddenly there were flashes, like lighting. As the lights were flashing, a man's face appeared. He had light skin, brown semi-curly hair and beard. He had a crown of some sort of leaves. I couldn't make out the color of his eyes because of all the lights flashing.

Then I woke up. I was wondering if any of you had any ideas of what this dream may mean? Or if these are symbols for something?

Comment by erthgoddss on December 23, 2008 at 3:17pm: IMO... dreams can be several different things. 1) the subconcious mind trying to tell you or remind you of something 2) an omen/portent/warning 3) a long forgotten remembrance 4) just a dream 5) someone or something, trying to communicate with you.

The man sounds a lot like the Greenman or God. The flashes of light could be that you are on to something... like a lighbulb going off... a warning to remember something or focus on something. Did he look familiar did the surroundings seem familiar? Dreams are unpredictable.. sometimes they mean something... sometimes they are just dreams that mean nothing. What you feel about the dream is what is important. Do you feel that it means something to you? Is it a recurring dream? Did it awaken something in you that you need to pay special attention to? Each dream that you feel is important is something to investigate.
