In honor of April Fools Day, our theme this week is: The Trickster and Fool. We'll take a look at the history of April Fools Day, as well as the Role that the Fool and the Trickster play in Earth-Based religious practices.
And in case you didn't know, Easter occurs on April 1st this year. I have a spoken word piece by Matt McCormick,: "The Salem Witchcraft Argument Against The Resurrection Of Jesus". Matt McCormick is a professor of philosophy for California State University, and he lays out several serious problems for Christians who want to believe the resurrection story.
Be well. Do good. Enjoy the show.
Some of the music you'll hear on this weeks show include Pink Floyd: "Fearless"; Johnny Winter: "Be Careful With A Fool"; Bowowow: "Chijuajua"; Talking Heads: "Road to Nowhere"; Gypsy Nomads: "House of Cards" and more.
DO YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY?
Maybe you've composed a new poem and would like to hear it on the radio. If you want to submit audio to The Spiral Dance, send me an email. There are basically no rules - just no harsh language, no commercial self-promotion and no Christian-bashing. Please let me know what you think about the show. I'm always open to suggestions; email spiraldance1@ excite.com or firstname.lastname@example.org
