i have a few questions if you are willing to bare with me

what is the point of Societal rules? why do we have to look a certain way, dress a certain way, talk a certain way, and act a certain way? what's the point of it? why is it so imperative that we all are the same? why is it such a big deal if someone wants to be different? what's the point of the "rules" that supposedly keep society "running smoothly"? it seems like it only promotes judging without even giving a person a chance. how is that right? how is that just? it just seems so wrong. i literally get yelled at daily because i refuse to conform. i won't wear makeup, i don't like high heals, i'm in love with tattoos and earnings of all kinds. i won't straighten my hair or paint my nails. i'm about as opposite of what they want as possible. mom gets angry at me and yells that i don't understand, i ask her why and she says because it's society. i tell her that society makes no sense and that i won't do it. she laughs and says i'll learn eventually or die because i can't survive without conforming eventually. what's your opinion?

ever wonder about why they say that we must have separation of the church and the state? but then, they take a biblical order that says you'll go to hell if you take your own life, and make it a law that if you attempt suicide, you go to jail. it seems to me like a little bit of hypocrisy that they say separation, but then they make the act of suicide illegal because of what the christian faith says. shouldn't the choice to take or keep your own life be personal and your own? a Dr. Kavorkian helped several terminally ill people take their own lives so that they could end the pain and misery or dying very slowly. he got put into prison for helping those people. even more hypocrisy is that they freak when a person wants to take their life, but when it comes to an animal life, which is just as important as the humans life, people don't hesitate to gas it, or shoot it. it just doesn't seem right to me. you may feel differently about a person and suicide, but to me, i feel it should be a personal thing that you have a right to do. idk. what's your opinion?

now i know these are questions people don't like to think about, but they need to be thought about because they aren't right
