The main problem with that question is the person in question has to have the "will power" to preform said spell. To ask for a quick fix spell *pow ur better* is the same as going to a doctor and saying "give me a pill". It treats the symptoms not the underlying problem. So in short the question one must ask themselves first is "why do I have an eating disorder/addiction?".

Now on to the "spell" process:

So where I would start is first with some meditation clear my mind. Once my mind was clear I'd ask Deity to help me realize the "why". I would then clear my mind again and simply listen. ( Meditation is a very personal process which in my opinion includes free association techniques. For example: anything that your subconscious mind can take over and give the conscious mind a chance to commune with what-have-ya unfettered by worry).
Once I have a feeling of "why" I usually have a clearer viewpoint to go from. At this point you may not need a spell you may have the answer to your problem. If you still don't have a path to feeling better, I would proceed to step two.

Negative thoughts will derail the following process! Make sure to cleanse first however you do that is fine, even a simple shower works as long as you don't get negative. If you feel "dirty" of mind/body/spirit it will reflect on your spell/ritual/whatever.

Keep in mind there is no time limit if you set a time limit "Deity" might not come to the party. So, it might be a good idea to make sure you don't have any set plans before you set out on the following.

Once I have the meditation done I wander around my sacred space sometimes with my eyes sometimes with my feet sometimes with my memory. Not thinking about anything in particular cept the ultimate goal which at this point should not be make my problems go away. Instead it should be more like help me cope with the "why". At this point I should get that "feeling" when I think of something that might help. When I get that feeling I go find it. If I can. If I can't then I was probably wrong and I move on to the next "object/idea/tool/book/etc." That accomplished I begin to have a clearer view of my direction in the process.

The third step is to eliminate the items that you don't really need for the final step.

Slowing without prejudice I scan through my collection. If I find that something "feels" off or incongruent I put it to the side, I still might need this later so it needs to be within reach. If something feels flat out wrong or even scary I do not use it for this rite and I will make sure not to have it on hand or I could pick it up in the final step and have to start all over again. After handling my pared down collection, I do my devotions. My devotions are the processes that I do when I don't want or need anything in particular. This is very important because I am about to "ask" a higher power to assist me in self-growth and if "they" ain't happy it could sour the process.

Now the final step:

By now I have a momentum going I'm in control of me but the process has a "mind" of it's own. I begin to use the items in the collection in the order or disorder that I feel they need to be used in. I may go back to one or skip one that I thought was going next. I may go to the put aside items there is a "Deus Ex Machina" at work now.

As the conclusion to the process looms things should start to focus. If the process begins to get chaotic beware.

As my focus begins to sharpen I can feel the conclusion building.

Caution impatience could now be a problem.

A frenetic pace begins and just when I feel it might be to much the pressure releases and a calm ensues.
This release is, in my opinion, the reassurance that "Deity" has given me that things will turn out the way that they should for the greater good. That's enough for me.

I hope that helps

Oh My Goddess yes, Now that Mercury is direct again and it is a waning moon, right now is the perfect time.  I call upon Hecate for these sorts of spells because she is so powerful.  When I call upon her, my dog would whimper in his sleep and now, my cats scurry away all sudden like.'

I use a black candle and a petition and burn it in a cauldron after chanting it nine times.
