my roommate is a victim of macumba...does anyone have any ideas??????

My roommate is from venezuela and someone has been casting spells against him using the ancient black magic called macumba. He says he's "posessed" by a spirit of sorts that will not allow him to feel any emotion or advance in life in any way, and hes really freaking out because bad luck always seems to follow him. So if anyone knows anything about venezuelan black magic....please hit me up.
