You have got to play Age of Mythology

This is the sequal to Age Of Empires and it just kicks butt. It lets you play three cultures the Norse, Greek, and Egyptian. You can start play worshiping one of nine gods: Thor, Odin, Loki, Zues, Posidon, Ares, Isis, Ra, or Set.You build up your cultures to go through 5 ages until you have either destroyed your opponant's culture or have built a wonder.The only problem I have with it is that with the rich tapestry of mythologies in the world they only chose three. I would have loved to be able to play the Celts or the Aztec Anyways I picked up a cheeap copy at Staples and I can't stop playing it. It is so completly Pagan that I think it should be on every Pagan gamer's shelf..

I've played it before, my friend owns it and I'd play it at his place. There are a couple of expansions for it as well. The first one gives you the option of playing the Atlanteans, you get the choices of Gaea, Oceanus and....well I can't remember the third deities name atm. Not only does the expansion give you a new culture, but you get options for all the others, the coolest being new myth units and the ability for all the cultures to be able to summon a Titan. (the Pharonic Titan is my personal fav.)
The other expansion is called the Conquerors, assuming my assumptions are correct this one throws Rome into the mix but I've never had any opputunity to check it out. T_T
As for the idea of putting in more cultures, yeah I'd have liked to see more myself. Celtic and Aztec woulda been cool (Mayan or Olmec could also be interesting), Chinese, Korean and Japanese culture would be another cool one to have in there. Southeast Asian cultures are another one (if for no other reason than to put all three of the pyramid building societies in there). Well, those are all the ones I can think of right now, lets see what this sparks up lol.
