Actually Nicole I thank you. After all it ios through critic that thing get better. I re-read what I wrote in "ones inner struggle" and I see what you meen. There is a lot less impact as it goes on. Originally I was trying to make it as if it was gradually a hopless thing at the end though it's lacking in showing itn as I wanted it to be,. Thus I know have somthing to work on. Not to mention a chalange. I need to find away to sortove (not sure if this is the best choice of word but) convey and draw out the sort of hoplessness in it.Granted mind you I know it's been done though I want to have it be easy to relate to other people. That said I'll need to work on that as well. ^_^ (can you tell I'm a very optamistic person :p )

As for the dream walkers. It was kindof spontanious; rather when I wrote it I did it do to the fact I have not seen many poems (let alone many people) doing poetry/poems about dreamwalking. Don't be suprised if I end up reposting some of these things after I tweeked with them for a while lol. (some of them I'm taking fromone of my other accounts so i have not seen them for a while lol)

Ones Inner struggle
by
Cameron S.

The days go by, yet time stood still.
Heat breathing down my neck...
Sweat covering me like flies to a watermelon.

I look for water, but find only sand.
Vultures circle over head,
to them I'm as surely as good as dead.

Night finally comes; I lie down and weep.
Wild critters start to creep.
Hopefully I won't die tonight in my sleep.

daylight has come; now onward I must go.
I now continue the path;
set for home I must travel sadly alone.

Days turn into months;months turn into years
I've given up on life,
for with you gone I have nothing here.

Authors note: In a lot of ways dealing with a break up is a lot similar to this. This is the best way I can describe what it feels like; this is how it feels to me. Even though I have a lot of friends there is still that desert and I'm trapped in it looking for what I want most someone to just...go home to. Call it being naive if you wish, but in the end that's what we all want is it not? Just...someone to love to hold onto to feel complete and not have to wonder in a void that seems endless to the point where we almost just feel like giving up. Maybe I ask to much or to little...this one knows not. Just like in this poem I seem to be doing just that.

Children of the Elements
by
Cameron S.

Flames inspire life
Flames berth death
Flames consume all

"come back Flame, Come back!"

Water nourishes all
Water always flows
Water covers earth

"Flow Water, cover this land!"

Earth holds truth
Earth stands strong
Earth remembers all

"Embrace us, Earth embrace!"

Wind flows gracefully
Wind caries words
Wind brings change

"Wind, sing us your song!"

We are children
We are theirs
We belong here
"Live children, keep on living!"

Ok I have several to share though I'm not sure if I should just put them all up or just one at a time so here's one for now. Hope people enjoy reading it.

The Dream walkers

by
Cameron S.

I'm here to tell a story,
I have no place to go.
I travel in a dream land,
as all dreams tend to flow.
When awake I look like you,
at night I need to go.
I'm soaring through the dream land,
at a pace like an Ocarina's flow.
I do not ever dream,
I'm always their yet not.
To dream a dream i envy you,
for I do surely not.

I Closed My Eyes As A Part of Me Died
by
Cameron S.

My heart ounce untainted now black as coal,
I have lost a part of my soul.
Now walking among the corpses of mistrust;
no longer any feelings, not even lust.

I closed my eyes as a part of me died.
No longer living; you not standing at my side.
Caught up now; you are your own lie

I believed you a friend, yet you had to hurt me so.
A part of me feels sad you had to go.
I pray for you now that much I know you will know,
along the road I travel now feeling alone.

I closed my eyes as a part of me died.
no longer living; you not standing at my side.
Caught up now; you are your own lie.

You took from me what know one could.
Beet me in a bag; you hurled me into winding woods.
You left me to die laughing to me at my face.
I became warn, tattered and disgraced.

I closed my eyes as a part of me died.
no longer living; you not standing at my side.
caught up now; you are your own lie.
Now I can do nothing, but say... good bye.
