Dark Arckana thanks for adding to the talk on time. How would you measure time in another dimension? If you can't use Christian time what time is it (the whole world is not on Christian time)? What time is it in lunar time? Alchemy time changes with each day, 7:30 today is not the same as 7:30 tomorrow. Outside of the solar system, how would you measure time? The Sun God does not rule time anymore. These questions are important for Magick does not have limits. Different sect have different beliefs that they work magick to. They use different time tables but they all perform wonderful magick. Your thoughs please.

Christine, that's quite an impressive explanation. However if no one minds, I'd like to present a different perspective. Time is the measurement of the speed of a process, and in being only a measurement is just as inaccurate and has the same inevitable margin of error as any other system of measurement. Think of the divisions of the day "morning", "noon", and "evening". Those are just "ranges" of possible times that a particular location is placed within a certain range of the sun. The term "location" is key to understanding just how subjective time is. The fact that we give different "time zones" to different divisions of the same country is proof that time is purely subjective. Think of it like this. Have you ever chatted on instant messenger with someone and they said something a long the lines of "it's about 9 in the morning here". But when you're chatting with that person, you're both engaging in the same activity at the same time. The only difference is the numbers on the clock and the amount of sunlight hitting that particular location. Now, back to the margin of error. "Morning", "Noon", and "Evening" never occur exactly at the same moment every day. They are just ranges that particularly measure different degrees of sunlight in relation to the earth. Does evening look the same at 6:30 every day or is it sometimes 6:33? During some parts of the year it's "7:30" and on different years it's different. With that, it's 7:19 AM, and I know that time is relative, but the process of being tired has kicked in. Good night... wait I mean, good morning, wait I mean.... um, I dunno ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz

WOOOW!! You are good!! You keep on impressing me. Looks like to me you are ready to time travel if that is something you seek. Now for my first question that I didn't make clear. What calendar or timing method do you use to perform the cross-quarters and equinoxs by.
You have already lead into my next topic I wanted to talk about. Do we have Free Will (a chaos universe) or predestiny (orderly universe)? When we do magick are we changing the universe or is the magick already done and we are changing us (changing vibration rate) to align with that magick so we notice it's out come? All hail to Lady Christine. She will make a great coven leader.

Hi all, I would like to talk about time. What timing do you use for your magick? Christian, Celtic, Pagan, exact or other. Do you think time is linear, parallel or stacked or other? Do you think the past and future are changable?

Welcome to the group Linear Chaos. The Poetry Magic you pointed out is only for major magick. Only used when you want big changes in the world you live in. It is to powerful to be used in minor work. The girls like it though because they can mutiply it with a power cone to make a big impact. Girls do like their power.

Hello, I practice many different kinds of magicks, and I also try to learn as much I can from others, but I rarely (if ever) use what I term "Poetry Magic." Its not my style and I use my mind and focusing arts to get the job done.

Hi Dark Arckana, I hope you don't mind answering a question. One mage to another. I read your profile and you called yourself a Chaos Magickian. I think of magick as neutral and orderly (Universal laws). What do you mean by Chaos? You are right about the stronger you become the less Magick you do. I am not counting the minor everyday manifestations that most will only dream of. Foot note: I don't believe in evil. I have never meet an entity, elemental or thought form that was not neutral. I don't know what evil is, never seen it in either worlds.

Sam, all I can say is "BINGO!" To me, Magick is like Music. It's about mastering your art by being able to do more, do better, with less intervals. "Evil" - nah, not really. I just like practiting.

Hi all, I am a mage and not a wiccan. I think magick is magick and religion is religion. You can mix the two if you like but not needed. The magickian is the magick and everything else is just tools or power boosters. Do or do not there is no trying in magick. Love to all.

Well, hello.........I consider myself a Magus/Witch......Which means I don't follow the Rede. However, I will if the need arises, ie. if I am doing something for someone else, and they do. I been practicing now for over 30 yrs. Glad to see I am not alome in my thinking..........
