Wharram Percy is an abandoned village in the East Riding of Yorkshire, probably decimated by the Black Death but a place of ancient settlement fromn pre-Christain times. In a wild dale in the Yorkshire Wolds, the christian church now in ruins we gather to celebrate the special occasions of the wheel of the year, unfettered by clothes and together as our fore bears similarly joined in union.
