I'm interested in learning more about how the Correllians handle degrees.  I love learning about different Trads.  The two trads I hold degrees in, while both Wiccan, are really different.  The second one is Lady Sheba's trad, and it has much less intrinsic to it than Blue Star, which I vastly prefer.

Here is an article I wrote on the three degrees of Traditional Wicca as a collective Hero's Journey, if you care to look at it.  It encapsulates how the degrees are not merely milestones but activate carefully designed energies which act on the postulant in specific ways.

My mom was a Rosicrucian so I'm a bit familiar with that. So the Correllian Trad is not specifically Wiccan, but Pagan, do I have that right?

Nope, I mean Priest, Priestess, Handmaid, Summoner.  I think it's interesting that your Tradition has 2nd degrees in Outer Court.  How many degrees are there?

Thank you.  I do think that, given the way the world is changing, someone had to fill this need for solitaries, and Rev. Don appears to be both knowledgeable and decent.  Does Correllian Wicca teach that there are 4 officiants to a circle, if one is able to get together with others?

To start the discussion rolling, my Trad has two pre-initiatory elevations and the Traditional 3 degrees.  The training tends to take upwards of 10 years, and is very academic.  Also, our Trad is unusual in that the initiate is required to "have their own life together" in order to advance in the training, rather than being measured by "witch skills" only, as in some trads.

Pagan Priestess, could you tell us about Correllian training?  I have looked at their site, but I'd love to get impressions from someone who has taken the training.

Pagan Priestess, I've heard of Correllian and respect Don Lewis.  I feel he has created a compromise so that people can have something remotely approximating training rather than letting solitaries flap in the breeze, and I respect that.  He's a good man.  I don't believe that training in anything other than "face to face" comes anything remotely close to the "training" I know, however.  You simply can't turn yourself into 4 trained initiates in your living room, no matter what.  But inasmuch as it's possible to approach what training can sort of be over the internet, Don Lewis has done it, and for that, I applaud him.

John, I won't be teaching in the sense of "taking students for training" because that can simply only be done in person.  At least in Traditional training.  I can't help you have a circle with trained priest and priestess, handmaid and summoner, all doing their jobs and Drawing Down Goddess and God over the internet, and anything short of that just isn't "training."  Can't be done.  BUT, I can "teach" inasmuch as it's possible over the internet.

Are you going to do a on line teaching on this sight? That would be something I would be interested in.
