I forged this iron knife in traditional coal-fired forge, without the use of power tools or anything not human-powered, it is , I believe, a better example of what is meant by a "Boline" or lunate knife than I can find from any modern maker, and conforms to the styles of remains of blades I have seen from the middle Iron age, I really feel that this type of blade conforms to the type used for ceremony, because if it were "white" meaning the black iron oxide layer is removed before heat-treating, the blade would be gold-colored at the blade, and bluish at the tip, I think also there would have been bronze, copper and gold blades, but to me, Iron is the most labor intensive of metals, and why would celts and druids make bracelets and other implements of iron just to resort to copper, gold and silver for ritual items? I think in many ways Roman stories of Druids downplayed the use of iron by celts and Druids for a reason, they didn't understand the advanced nature of the metalworking.
