Welcome! I've hit the local library. We have a great online book-hold system. I really like reading Starhawk. Check her out! Have a great day.
I am also new to the site... but have been pagan for a long while. Your post sent me to my bookshelves. I found a few books that may be useful to you.. "To Ride A Silver Broomstick" by Silver Ravenwolf, "Buckland's complete book of Witchcraft" by Raymond Buckland. As you read them... you may find that parts of them apply and parts don't apply to your path, that's ok. Both authors practiced Wicca, and you may be an eclectic witch, druid, or follow a completely different path, but the books are good at explaining the basics.
thank you all very much. i will take all your suggestions.

What path are you looking into? I would start there. If your undecided I would then research the many different paths until you find something that gets your blood pumping. Then go from there. Best of luck
Blessings! Here is a great reading list complete with reviews/ ratings you might find helpful ;

Has anybody read or is reading "The Earth Path" by Starhawk? I am reading this book now, and would like to engage in a discussion with interested souls. Blessed Be.
