Silence and complicity is all I show

But my true feelings no one will know



Demons inside torment my mind

No one understands the rage I feel inside



In my mind I stand there and scream

Yet no one hears me or so it would seem



I want to lash out and destroy everything

But that would defeat my purpose and have no meaning



So I cage it up and lock it away

Yet I can not explain to you why I feel this way

I hear the cries of long lost souls

In my mind there is a city plated in gold



As I walk the streets I see familiar faces

But now they're all gone, and I'm left with empty spaces



What happened that fateful day

When all of Atlantis was washed away



I feel a tear run down my face

And wonder how the earth lost such a wonderous place



For centuries men have searched

Under the seas and over the earth

It was a day I can never forget



You asked me my name and what I was doing

Even though I knew you weren't ensueing



We talked all night just you and me

I know I'm not blind yet I could not see



You were sweet and cordial and hung on my every word

Yet still I felt somewhat obsurd

But when you left was something I cannot stand
