Wicca Wiccans Pagans and Free Souls.. live different.. be Neopagan!

*waves* Hi everyone.

I know i have mentioned this before... I just started my new path a few months ago, so this will be my very first offical Yule. I was invited to a Yuletide Celebration. I'm really excited and really can't wait.

Last weekend my sister and I met a few Pagans in a nearby (small) city. (we have to drive 2 hours to meet with them.) Well, we met at a great cafe (the 806) and had a conversation with a member of a coven. I wanted to meet her to hear a person's opinion on things and maybe get to know her and others so my sister and i can learn from another source besides books and the internet.

Afterwords we asked her if she could take us to a Pagan store. There we met more people. I have to say that i loved our conversations with them all. They also invited us to join them for Yule. There are 2 other gatherings before, (to just talk and hear others' views on subjects) and my mom wants to go with us too. I'm happy that she wants to see where we are heading. (she is still Catholic, but would like to learn more about Wicca) I was just wondering, since this is our first time to go to a gathering like this... what can we expect?

I know that it is different for all groups, covens, gatherings, but i would just like to know what could be there?
We were told that since there are different kinds of Pagans and everyone (of course) thinks and worships different, that there will be a little bit for everyone so no one will feel left out. I was just wondering. ^_^

Thanks bunches

Sounds like a kind of study group, meeting 2 more times before Yule, unless they are practicing or preparing for their Yule Ritual. I would say you are in for great conversation, the possibility of a circle ( that you may or may not be invited to take part in), and some snacks. The most important thing to remember is to do only what you feel comfortable with.
I am so happy for you! Your mom sounds like a very cool person. Good Luck and let me know how it goes! Wishing you Love and Light Always. -Be Blessed
