General idea for this forum...

Hi Newbies and Advisors!

So glad you made it here. Thanks for joining both this group and the community. Ask for what you are seeking and another might help you find it.
Feel free to start a discussion or post comments on the wall (like many so far, thanks)...
That's the idea anyway!
This group is very loosely administered... It's more a point of connection for new community members looking to meet others. New members may or may not be new to the concept of Paganism etc.

Express yourself!

Hugs,
Rebecca

question. There is a horrible woman at my place of employment. She spreads lies and she is very deceitful. I don't want to hurt her...don't need the Karma, but is there anyway to banish her or bind her to her own self so she can feel her reflection. Thanks!!!

Kat, I've read that from so many people on this site. You are unique but your feeling of having been drawn to Wicca isn't that unusual as it's a religion that attracts people with the ability to send out to and reach sensitive people. I'm wondering if you had any family members who might have imparted a love of nature or maybe have been gifted as well. I've noticed a lot of indication that these things might be inherited. Meanwhile, it might help to realize that your fear of the Earth religions probably was taught to you in many ways as you grew up with your Christian family and their friends. It's actually harder to get past that childhood brainwashing than many people realize until they try it. We all have our own specific and unique beliefs even as we embrace groups of like minded people. Your ability to think independently and not be a sheep is one reason you're drawn to Wicca. So, don't feel alone. Most of us, in the United States, were raised either by or among Christians and their belief that it's wrong to think outside their accepted dogma is taught to us in many ways, both blatant and subtle. We don't actually know our true numbers because it's so taboo to be anything other than Judeo/Christian here. I'm in my 60's and still have problems associated with my beliefs, both intellectual and instinctive, vs. the culture I live in. I, personally, pull many beliefs and practices from many different pagan paths, including Wicca.
Peaceful Blessings

It seems that i have wicca as an intrinsic part of me, i did not go looking to begin with, i feel like it found me! Does anyone else feel that way? I have tried to find my own way for a while now, but every time i meet someone clairevoyant or gifted in another way, they tell me that my gift is natural and that i need to embrace it. They have all said that i need guidance to help me from becoming too dark and allow me to become enlightened by it rather than scared by it. I do feel a little frightened by it though. I was raised a christian, and although my family know i can communicate with spirits ( that all came out when i was a child and did noy know that it was not normal) they have no idea that i believe myself to be wiccan. My husband knows( its hard to hide it when sharing a house with someone), but he is definately not encouraging! I do not know anyone who is like me, and i am fed up of feeling alone in my beliefs. i would so appreciate any help or guidance that could be given, and i would love to make friends with some like minded people. love and light....

I am new to wicca, but I want to learn all that I can. My parents are super religious christians....they know I don't believe what they believe, but if they ever knew I was wiccan, they would probably call a priest or something...can anyone help me learn about my new world?

Hello, I'm Sasha. I stumbled into Wicca quite by accident, but I'm glad I did. I'm the only pagan in my school (yay, I'm special!)
S.O.S.
My parents don't know I'm Wiccan, but I really want to tell them.
I would, but when I told them I was agnostic, which i was for awhile, they flipped out, which is odd, because they openly admit they are not Christian and are not religious.
Help?
