Ritual # 3 (Healing)

Ok, I'm nervous about this spell, I don't know exactly what I am doing. What I am planning on is going around the circle, set up in my normal way, widdershins with my staff swirling to cast out negative energies. I'll then go deosil, inviting the elements. Then I'll invite the god and the goddess. Well, maybe this is a prayer? I will ask the god and goddess to grant my grandfather healing. He has heart problems, and I want to be with him for a long while longer. I am worried I will do something… Continue

Well, im pissed off at the world... (explicit content, read at your own risk.)

I am sure most of you have heard about these next few things I am about to talk about in these next few moments of your life, but bear with me. (If you didn't read the title, this contains explicit content, and you should be careful when reading the below blog.)

Ok, so Christians, people of "love" "care" etc. Well, how many of them show it? Well, I don't see many of them doing it, and frankly, how can they profess a god of love and mercy when they show none. I mean, has anyone else… Continue

Universal Laws that effect The Craft & The Secret (LOA).

Hello All

The Universal Laws control & effect both The Craft & The Secret (LOA). So just what are these laws. Well if you looked my last two blogs you would already know. But for you that didn’t read them ( which is most likely everyone ) I’ll go over them again.

1: Law of Gratitude 2: Law of Attraction 3: Law of Karma 4: Law of Love 5: Law of allowing 6: Law of vibration.

These are the six laws that everyone dealing with The Secret talk about. There a few more Laws… Continue

I really think the return to paganism began with Martin Luther, insisting on one's own respomsibility for one's relation to the divine

I'm going to Dingus Day Buffalo tomorrow. The women use pussy willow branches to whip the men of choice and men use squirt guns, or beer depending on the occasion to squirt or splashed the girls. Is this not a direct descendant of some pagan spring ritual reemerged; it is celebrated as Polish but pick the time in the last couple thousand years and the region is probably a third of Europe, so that doesn't really narrow it down at all. It's got to be a strong tradition that survived thanks to the… Continue

Ritual # 2 (Consecration of my staff)

What I will do is gather several Items, and go out to my circle (look at my pics), and close it, pushing out all negative energies, and welcoming all the spirits and the goddess and god. I will take out there, a glass of water (water), three candles (god, goddess, and fire), my lighter (bought it at the gas station today), some herbs (earth) my cologne (air), and my staff. Now thats a crapload of stuff, so needless to say, more than one trip.

I will place two candles in the center of… Continue

Reminisce...

It all started with a young girl at the age of 19. She had just filled out an application for employment at a local nursing home. She headed back home. The next day she got a call from her future employer. She got called in for an interview and she went to it, determined to gain the job that was being offered. When she walked in to the room where her potential new boss was seated. It was love at first sight. And the girl was not thinking of the love of her new job, which was basically just… Continue

my first ritual (Well, offering actually)

Ok, so I am unexperianced in rituals (see title lol) and am planning my first one tonight. I found a stick that I can use as a staff, but I don't have the means to consecrate it just yet, so it will be left out of this one. So what I plan to do is make an offering for the Horned God and Triple Goddess. What I have done so far is found a lighter, and gathered herbs out of my mothers garden. Tonight, I will gather two of my mothers candles and a small glass of water and sneak out of my house with… Continue

My Alter (And other tools)

Ok, so as many of you know, it is forbidden by my parents to practice witchcraft. Well, we don't see eye-to-eye, nor do we have good relationships. So, I really don't care anymore. So I am thinking of my alter and how I would like it to be set up. First, I will get some wooden boards. I will one into a circle, and two more to act as legs. I am thinking I will paint it black with a red pentagram in the center. I will set a red candle (Symbolizing the horned god) on the left of the table, and a… Continue

the importance of nature...to the mind

I just saw a report on a study that showing that time spent moving around in nature, observing nature, improved the subjects' attention and focus by up to 20%. Observing pictures of nature had a similar effect. However walking around in an urban setting had no such effect. Nature speaks to a primal part of our mind that understands it directly, often without words. Does any one besides me think the current incidence of ADD might have something to do with nature deficit in children?

LOOKING BACKWARDS

Allow us to move outside the box for a while. In the space outside the box we may explore any territory we wish to travel. In this realm we can journey where we want without fear of reprisal, for we do it hand in hand with each other, through levels and planes of thought.

Imagine a time on Earth before humans existed . . . plants growing and dying with the season, only to start growing again when the sun became warm enough to nurture each plant and warmer rains fell to dampen the… Continue

Temple of Artemis to be rebuilt as center for culture, arts: Link to news article

http://bit.ly/Jr7EO

Thought everyone might find it interesting to read about this news from March 2009. A Temple - a Pagan Temple - is going to be rebuilt in the vicinity of the original temple. This is in the country of Turkey. Apparently archeologists didn't find this original temple until 1870 but now there are only 2 pieces of marble left... However, they have figured out what it looked like... click on the link and read, my friends!

The Haunting of Connecticut

Ok... last night i went to see the film "The Haunting of Connecticut" I will say it was good movie. And well... now i have so many questions. Since there are several people here that are more advanced in the paranormal topic than i am... i was wondering if anyone can answer a few questions for me?

There were some things in the film that might have been made up for dramatic purposes and then again... they might be true. Here are the questions:

Is it true that really… Continue
