End of Civilization as we know it.

For a couple of years now, maybe even longer, but as a shadow of feeling, I have felt the need to prepare for difficult times. The Goddess (as I see her)

She stands alone. Alone and waiting. Eyes dim with age, seeing more clearly than the young. Mute, she speaks volumes to those who will listen. Just to explain to those I speak to here on the internet and elsewhere that I have several names that I answer to. Some have been given to me by other members of the Pagan Community, one or two others by Spirits with whom I communicate. I go by Azrael, Region, Raven Wolfspirit and Amun-Taka-Re.

Poetry?

When you cast your circle and create your magicks... do you use poetry? The reason I ask is because when I was new to paganism I was told that all spells had to be done poetically. I was very frustrated because though I love to read poetry... it takes me days to write a poetically correct passage. I no longer need poetry.. I just communicate and that seems to work for me. But what about you?

People are so funny!

Today at work all I heard from every direction was what people were going through trying to get ready for the "big day" (Christmas). It didn't bother me... I just oohed and aahed to everything they said. Later in the day someone brought up that I had it easy because I wasn't Christian. Solitary vs. Group

It has always interested me to hear opinions on this topic. Personally I prefer solitary, with some fun with groups on line and social rituals.

I find people to be NUTS and hate to say it..so many groups focused on Drama. I like finding peace in nature and although I truly enjoy large group rituals, or social gatherings. I tend to stay solitary. It is so hard to find the right mix of people to have a closed coven with and keep the focus on what is important and not all the silly human… Continue

Freedom

Im so glad I found this site,now I feel free and not bound by any more Pushy Christian rituals.I just cant tell any of my family if I still want to be talked to,they are all christians.I have 1 wonderful friend whos in Wicca who understands me.
